Después de haber reeditado a todo lujo sus tres primeros álbumes, Metallica proceden ahora a hacer lo mismo con su cuarta obra, ...And Justice for All, editada originalmente en 1988 y con la que comenzaron a abrirse a nuevos públicos más mayoritarios.
La reedición tendrá el álbum original convenientemente remasterizado por Greg Fidelman, así como una extensa selección de maquetas, versiones diferentes y grabaciones de varios conciertos. Se pondrá a la venta el próximo 2 de noviembre.
Como es habitual, estará disponible en digital y una variedad de formatos físicos incluyendo doble LP, casete, CD, triple CD con una selección de maquetas y directos, un libro expandido y una enorme caja deluxe con todo el material.
Esta caja contiene el CD, el vinilo, un picture disc del single One, un triple LP grabado en directo en Seattle en 1989, cuatro DVDS y otros diez CDs con las maquetas, los conciertos y entrevistas. La guinda la pone un libro de 120 páginas con datos, fotos, parches, láminas y acreditaciones. Todo el contenido puede consultarse en metallica.com.
El guitarrista Kirk Hammett es el encargado de mostrar el contenido de la caja en un 'unboxing video' publicado en el canal de YouTube del grupo. Y por ahí se dejan ver también el batería Lars Ulrich y el vocalsita y guitarrista James Hetfield.
